FrankDaDank presents: Tournament Wars

KRang

Recently Frank Caraan AKA FrankDaDank has been putting in a lot of time constructing his very own “Tournament Wars: Season 1: SF4.”  From what I understand, teams of 3 will be competing against eachother during scheduled matches in order to reach the “playoffs” where the top 4 teams will compete against each other.

It’s a lot like a sports season like football or basketball…There will be 8 rounds (matches) where each team will be split into 4 pools (kinda like east division, west division, etc.).  Teams compete within their pools and based off of a point system, the team that has earned the highest points make it out of their pool and into the playoffs.  This sounds like a lot of fun, and I can’t wait to start playing!

As of right now, Frank is still finalizing the schedule as well as confirming venues to play at.  The thread with all the information regarding Tournament Wars can be found here: http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=206176.  Unfortunately, as of right now the cap has been met at 16 teams…however Frank has posted that there MIGHT be room for a 17th team (3 more people!), so if your looking to join ask Frank about it…and if no luck there, I’ll say what coach always told you before you were cut “There’s always next season little guy.”

To hype up the event, Frank’s made us some Team Seattle Trading Cards :P
