SUPER 4 CONFIRMED FEATURES BY IPLAYWINNER

Information about Super 4 comes out almost daily, and at times it’s hard to discern what’s actually true compared to hot gossip.  Fighting game website “iplaywinner” has just recently compiled a list of “Super Street Fighter 4 Confirmed Features” which provides a definitive list of what is actually confirmed in Super 4.  So if you’re not up to date on all the new features, or if you just want to know truth from empty words, check it out and give it a read!

Also, iplaywinner compiled a list of requests that Japanese players have asked for in regards to super 4.  Community member Azrael has paraphrased and translated some of the requests that were asked by the Japanese commenter’s in the most recent Super 4 Blog (which went into more detail about online features).  Iplaywinner compiled the expansive “wish list” in this article.  The list is pretty large and not every idea was too great, however there were a few requests that seemed very insightful.  All in all, it’s a pretty insightful list so be sure to check it out.

What do you think of knowing a person’s BP before playing them? I think that that might lead to people just not playing people who are 1) Ranked really high above them 2) People ranked way to low below them.

Either way the amateur players are going to lose out on the ability to see really good players in action and perhaps learn something..

Hmmm, I think that the point of knowing a person’s BP before you play them serves one MAIN purpose: If you have high BP and your opponent has low BP, why would you risk a ton of BP on the line?

BP works in the manner that you only really gain BP by beating people who are of equivalent value or higher. If you play someone with very low BP, you only gain about 5 BP or so…where as playing someone of higher BP gets you 100 or so BP.

It’s an idea that was introduced awhile back…I agree with it thoroughly. BP is just a number however in some cases it’s a status thing. If I had a ton of BP, went up against someone with MUCH lower BP, I could possibly risk losing 100 BP at the time…why would I even want to play the match in the first place? If I had to beat 10 low level BP people just to get back my ONE loss, I would be pretty salty.
