For those of you not in the know, every first and third Friday of the month Zach Robinson, aka Preppy, aka our lord and savior, hosts the preeminent get-together for the Seattle fighting game scene at his mansion/fortress Preppopolis. Entries for the SFIV double-elimination singles tournament are always near or above 40 entrants. Players can be seen finally exiting the venue no earlier than 5am Saturday, usually to go to the closest Denny’s. New slang is created every time. Don’t even get me started on the “AY” clapping.

In other words, it is SERIOUS BEASTING.

In the SFIV tournament, highlights included Peachy continuing to dominate with some of the craziest airtight execution that has ever been seen with Blanka and potential rookie of the year candidate (and recent pad-to-stick convert) Riki-Oh putting on a very strong performance with his Bison to take second.
